AlUla's Heritage Sites Workshops and Pavilions

The heritage sites are AlUla’s most valuable open-air gallery, within its rich and diverse open museum. AlUla has been activated as a unique destination, attracting visitors from within the Kingdom, the region, and beyond, while ensuring full participation of the local community as key beneficiaries of the ongoing rejuvenation process in AlUla.
During the AlUla Moments events in 2023-2024, a large proportion of visitors were families, and school visits were regularly organized.
At Knowliom, we carried out various activities at several historical sites (Jabal Ikmah, Hegra, Oasis, Dadan, AlMinshiah, Old Town), where visitors could see the rock art in Jabal Ikmah, participate in a treasure hunt in Hegra, attend a mud-brick workshop in the Oasis, and an archaeologists’ workshop in Dadan. Meanwhile, they enjoyed family cultural activities in AlMinshiah, allowing them to understand the lifestyle, trade, and ancient traditions of past civilizations.
